This game started off a little slow with both teams taking their times to run thru their offenses. East was scoreless the first 2 minutes of the game until a free throw by Adrienne Pratcher.
Into the second quarter, East had a lot of turnovers and unforced errors. White Station converted them into buckets and went into halftime with a 17 point lead 36-19

Game 3: Overton vs Melrose
This was the highly anticipated matchup. It started out very uptempo with both teams feeling each other out. The very first points of the game came late in the quarter and ended 6-2 Melrose.
From there Melrose spreaded the floor and took advantage of their quickness getting to the rack at ease. If Melrose was not taking it to the basket, Teneisha Lurry took care of business at the 3 point line hitting 2 in the second quarter.
