GAME 1

Bartlett and Manassas was evenly matched up during the first quarter. Desiree had 6 points off of two 3 pointers. Bartlett had more of a team effort tonight compared to last night. Getting points from Jasmine James, Jemil Jefferson and Briana Walker.


End of 1st Quarter: Bartlett-11 Manassas-10

During the second quarter, Bartlett came out with a full court press and increased the lead by 11 with a score of 29-18. Manassas could only come up with 1 point in the third.

Manassas tried to make a run in the fourth with a full court press of their own but it wasn't enough. Final Score: Bartlett-53 Manassas-33

GAME 2


Central and Millington started out as an uptempo game. Millington jumped to an early lead behind several steals and turnovers by Central. After 1 quarter the score was 21-11. Jasmine Newsome had 7 of the 21 for Millington.

Central made a slight comeback during the second quarter behind efforts from Jasmine Taylor and Danielle Ballard. Halftime score: Millington 34, Central 25

Aaliyah Whiteside had a breakout quarter during the 3rd with 6 points and helped Central cut the lead to 5 at 44-39.

Around the 3 minute mark of the 4th, Central took the lead with a And 1 situation for Erica Burgess. Then Ashley Robinson of Millington fouled out the game at 1:57. Central took over from that point winning 54-47.
