Pachiyanna Roberts hit a 60-foot shot at the buzzer Saturday night to help No. 13 McEachern (Power Springs, Ga.) to a 64-61 victory over No. 11 Memphis (Tenn.) Central at the Turkey Jamm in Memphis, Tenn.

The 6-foot-1 forward, a Syracuse signee, finished with 42 points.

"I had no idea it was going in until it got to the rim," Roberts said of her shot. "And (42) I didn't even know I had tha many. We needed points in a bad way. I just wanted to help my team."

McEachern, which beat Overton (Memphis, Tenn.) in its opening game of the tournament, improved to 4-0. It already owned a victory over No. 32 Norcross (Ga.) this season.

Memphis Central won its first game of the tournament, 64-61, over No. 14 Twinsburg (Ohio) on Friday night.


Morgan Tuck's 40 lifts No. 8 Bolingbrook Hoopgurlz

Morgan Tuck, ranked by ESPN HoopGurlz as the No. 15 prospect in the 2012 class, scored 40 points on Friday night as No. 8 Bolingbrook (Ill.) beat No. 15 Riverdale (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) 72-68 on Friday night at the Turkey Jamm in Memphis, Tenn.

Junior Tyisha Perry led Riverdale with 25 points.

Tuck's Raiders also beat No. 14 Twinsburg (Ohio) 50-47 on the second day of competition.
