The game starts off in Hamilton's favor. Shervonte' Bright connects on two consecutive passes from Khadijah Muhammad for layups giving Hamilton the early 4-0 lead and forcing Fairley into an immediate time out. After the time out Fairley remained patient on offense and put the full court pressure on Hamilton forcing them to make 5 turnovers in the quarter. End of First Quarter 15-6 Fairley.

Hamilton went on a 10-0 run in the second quarter to take back the lead at 16-15. However, right before halftime Brandi James connected on a 3 pointer and ended the quarter and half at 19-16.

Second half of the game went back and forth . Victoria White got hot for Hamilton hitting several jump shots. However at the 2:43 mark in the 3rd and a score of 29-26 Fairley,a technical foul was called against Hamilton and the momentum of the game swung Fairley's way. Erica Ousley took Fairley on a 7-0 run by herself with 2 threes and a freethrow to increase the lead to 36-26. End of third quarter: 39-30

Hamilton got within 6 but Fairley took the game 56-41. Erica Ousley finished with 24 points; Erica Robinson finished with 12 points and Brandi James finished with 9 points, 3 steals and 1 rebound for Fairley, . Shervonte' Bright finished with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists and Victoria White finished with 13 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist for Hamilton.
