Lonlack's Tip-In at the Buzzer Secures 66-64 Memphis-Win Over Tulsa

With the game tied and only tenths of a second left on the clock, Ramses Lonlack tipped in a missed layup giving Memphis a 66-64 victory over Tulsa. On senior night, senior Jasmine Lee posted 20 points and 14 rebounds. Fellow senior Lonlack recorded 19 points, eight rebounds and six steals.

Down 57-56 with three minutes left on the clock, Lonlack drew a foul on Tulsa's Taylor Hooker. Lonlack stepped to the line and sank both shots. After Tulsa regained the lead on a jumper, Nicole Dickson connected on a jumper of her own to put the Tigers up, 60-59.

Hooker banked home a three-point shot, regaining the lead for Tulsa. But, Lonlack sank a 10-foot turnaround jumper to knot the game at 62-all. On the Tigers next offensive possession, Nicole Dickson hit a jumper to put Memphis up by two with 28 seconds on the clock.

Tulsa misfired on a quick jumper, but a jump ball was called when Lee and Tiffani Couisnard simultaneously came down with the rebound. Taleya Mayberry tied the score on a baseline jumper off the inbounds pass with 7.3 ticks on the clock.

Danay Collier raced down the left sideline and drove to the basket. Collier's layup attempt went long to the back side, where Lonlack was waiting for the tip-in.

Dickson scored 17 points and pulled down 10 boards, joining Lee with a double-double. The junior is now one point shy of 1,000 for her career.

With the win, Memphis improves to 22-6 overall and 12-3 in Conference USA.
