After juggling two other schools Alabama A&M and Steven F. Austin in Texas Ashely decided to stay in her hometown of Memphis Tennessee. Her decision was decided after receiving a very generous academic scholarship from CBU and then she was presented with an offer to play as a Lady Buc. Ashley states this was conformation for her.
Ashley is the starting point guard for Bolton High School and also for team Tri-State Elite under coaches Fred Elchols and Evelina Wilburn.
Ashley was joined by her parents Frank Winston Jr. and Sonya Williams as she signed her Letter Of Intent.
