On November 19, 2011, over 30 players participated in the 4th Annual Granny's Girls Basketball Camp. Players from all over the Mid-South including Pine Bluff, Arkansas participated. They learned how to T.H.I.N.K. B.I.G., various agility, ball handling, passing, defensive, shooting drills and more. This year's camp raised 512 individual bottles of Ensure. Thank you to all players that participated and all donations.
Granny's Girls Basketball Camp is a free fundamental camp for girls ages 8 - 14. The camp is in honor of Patosha Jeffery's grandmother, Mattie Woods, who passed from lung cancer in 2008. Participants are asked to donate 2 six packs of Ensure. The Ensure is then donated to the American Cancer Society - Memphis Chapter. Over 1700 individual bottles have been raised since the 1st camp.
