POPOTV: One of the most effective on-the-ball defenders in the Memphis area Point Guard Dontrecia Johnson talks about overcoming her recent knee injury. I wanted to interview her because not only has she overcome 1 knee injury, but 2 knee injuries.
The day I inteviewed Dontrecia another Memphis area player had suffered a knee injury. That made 2 players in the Memphis area with knee injuries within the past 2 months (that I know about). I felt who better to provide an encouraging word to them and others. Since interviewing Dontrecia, she has played in 2 games averaging 8.5 points, including 9 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals in her first game.
