Back in October, some Memphis area players participated in Coach Hemi's Fall Workout. Several of the players from the 2018 class stood out. Here's what they had to say:
Gabby Crawford – Munford HS (TN)
The
left-handed forward made a great first impression at the camp. Her
mobility and activity translates into productivity. She showed range on
her jumper in drills as well as in game play. Standing at 6-foot-2, look
for her to be a standout while playing with coach Eric Daniels on the
summer travel circuit.
GiGi Lewis – MHEA Homeschool (MS)
Lewis
is a left-handed point guard who does a good job of involving her
teammates in the offense. She showed poise and skill at the camp in
October. Look for her game to expand as she matures physically.
Jamirah Shutes – Haywood HS (TN)
Shutes
is an aggressive guard with the ball in her hands. She pressed the
issue from the point position and made positive things happen all
weekend long. In a game that is dominated by point guard play, Shutes is
a prospect to track in future evaluations.
