Full Court released their list of 2015 players that stood out at the 2013 Nike Nationals. Torri Lewis (MHEA) and Kaylan Pugh (St. Mary's) made their list. This is what they had to say.
Torri Lewis, 5-9 shooting guard, Tennessee Flight Silver - 15U Nike Nationals/MHEA (MS) [home schooled]
On first glance, Lewis looks like your classical zone-busting spot-up
shooter of average athleticism. The surprise is that she runs well and
can guard a better athlete more than would be expected. She plays in a
home-schooled league, something that has been growing in recent years.
In a few years, she will probably play in a more well-known league, one
something of the level of the SEC if she so chooses.
Kaylan Pugh, 5-10 forward, Tennessee Flight Silver - 15U Nike Nationals/ St. Mary's Episcopal High School
Taking a charge on a Pugh drive would be a good excuse to leave the
court. Strongly built, she likes to drive going hard right. In the
paint, Pugh is very willing to hit the boards, playing taller than her
height. Adding some shooting range would make her a lock for a BCS
future.
