CHAMPIONSHIPS SUNDAY, FEB 9 at FedEx Forum
Boys & Girls A, AA, AAA Champions Will Be Crowned

Memphis, Tenn. – The 2014 Championship Matchups’ are still too close to call and the upcoming championship games will not disappoint. Some of the best high school basketball should not be missed as teams battle it out at FedEx Forum for bragging rights in the 1st “SCIAA Fever” Basketball Championship on Sunday, February 9 at noon.

The championship will consist of six high school games total, three girls’ games and three boys’ games.

• GIRLS SINGLE A – BTW v. Oakhaven
• GIRLS DOUBLE AA-Raleigh Egypt (#9) v. Craigmont
• GIRLS TRIPLE AAA-Ridgeway (#6) vs. Central

• BOYS SINGLE A – BTW (#4) v. Mitchell
• BOYS DOUBLE AA – Douglass (#5) v. Sheffield
• BOYS TRIPLE AAA – White Station (#1) v. Arlington (#6)

Tip-off will begin at 12:15 p.m. with a 16A girls games. During the marquee match with White Station High School, the SCIAA will present the Court of Legends, a special presentation honoring NBA athletes from Shelby County including Todd Day, Elliot Perry, Penny Hardaway, and Ashley Shields. The intermission between the 16AAA girls’ game and 16A boys’ game will include a mega-style thirty minute “halftime show” with appearances by Toya and performances from the OMG Girlz and T.R.U.B.

Tickets to see the best of Shelby County start at just $12 at the FedExForum Box Office. You must go directly to the FedExForum to get these ticket prices. Don’t wait! Tickets are valid for all six games. Parking at the Toyota Center is $5.00 for this event.
