Training for basketball is not a one time activity. It's an activity that develops your skills over a period of time.
In less than 2 months, I've watched players become better shooters, ball handlers and more confident in their abilities as a player. They're also developing an understanding that it's a process that happens over time not in one day.
I enjoy coming up with different drills to help the players become quicker, shoot better, become better ball handlers, and have a better understanding of the game.
Here is a drill from training on March 16, 2013 using a ladder to train left and right-handed ball handling, coordination, foot work and a little conditioning.
