2012-2013 Clarion-Ledger Mississippi Girls Dandy Dozen basketball team

Jasmine Joyner (Southaven/Team Memphis Elite) and Kiandria "Ki Ki" Patterson (Columbus/Team Memphis Elite) made the 2012-13 Clarion-Ledger Girls Basketball Dandy Dozen.

Jasmine Joyner Southaven, Forward 6-1, Senior Defensive standout averaged 6.3 blocks as a junior ... Had 13 blocks vs. Tupelo ... Also averaged 10 points and 7.4 rebounds ... Season-best 15 rebounds vs. Murrah and 12 steals against Hernando ... Narrowed college choices to Murray State, Arkansas State, UAB and UT-Chattanooga ... “She’s the linch pin that holds it all together,” says Southaven coach David Baldwin.

Kiandria Patterson Columbus, Guard 5-7, Senior Two-time Dandy Dozen pick can score in bunches ... Scored a season-high 36 points last season (against Kemper County) and a career-high 44 (vs. Newton) as a sophomore ... Averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assists to help Lady Falcons finish 22-3 ... Committed to Mississippi State ... “Kiki is a scorer and it’s just hard to stop her,” said Columbus coach Yvonne Hairston.
