Memphis, in its second season in the American Athletic Conference, will open its conference home slate with a televised ESPNU game against Temple (Dec. 28).
The Tigers will then have six of their eight games in January carried on a digital platform. Memphis will air on ESPN3 three times in January, including a road game at UCF (Jan. 7) and a pair of home games (Jan. 14 vs. Cincinnati and Jan. 31 vs. USF).
The American Digital Network will carry three other Memphis games in January, including a home game against Houston (Jan. 24) and a pair of road contests (at Tulsa, Jan. 10 and at Cincinnati, Jan. 28).
Five of seven Memphis February games will be aired. The American Digital Network will carry two road games (at Temple, Feb. 4 and at Tulane Feb. 21) and will air a game from the Elma Roane Fieldhouse against Tulsa, Feb. 24th.
Two February games will be carried on traditional TV channels, including the Feb. 7th game against Connecticut at FedExForum and the Tigers' first trip to Storrs on Feb. 28th. The Feb. 28th game will be carried on CBS Sports Network.
ESPN3 will also air all of the first round and quarterfinal games of The American Athletic Conference Championships, which begin Mar. 6th in Uncasville, Conn.
Memphis will open its 2014-15 season with an exhibition game against Rhodes College on Saturday, Nov. 8th and will open its regular season with a Friday, Nov. 14th game against Missouri State at 4 p.m. That game will be the front end of a women's sports doubleheader with the Tiger volleyball team, which hosts Houston at 7 p.m.
