On November 23, 2013, 28 girls participated in the 6th Annual Granny's Girls Basketball Camp.
The camp was started in 2008 in honor of my (Patosha Jeffery) grandmother, Mattie Mae Woods, who died of lung cancer that year.
The camp is free, however, participants are asked to donate 2 six packs of Ensure nutrition shakes to attend. The Ensure is then donated to the American Cancer Society. The camp was able to raise 304 bottles of Ensure.
