Charlotte 49ers women's basketball coach Cara Consuegra announced the hiring of Angela Crosby as assistant coach. Crosby, who spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Virginia Tech, joins Sabrina Gregory and Karen Lange on the 49ers' coaching staff. Crosby has 13 years of collegiate coaching experience after having served as an assistant coach at Appalachian State, Chattanooga, Memphis and Virginia Tech.
