Briarcrest 71, Madison Academic 45: Taylor Pugh scored 11 points and earned Most Valuable Player honors Wednesday after helping propel Briarcrest to its fifth straight win.
Robyn Peete scored a team-best 17 points, Samantha McColgan had 15, and Dakota Doss managed 13 for the Lady Saints, who improved to 9-3 on the season.
