LaToya Bullard, Memphis Lady Tiger

LaToya Bullard is a junior guard for the University of Memphis Lady Tigers.

According to 2008-2009 Memphis Media Guide, A 2005 graduate of Craigmont High School, Bullard had her No.23 high school jersey retired after helping the Lady Chiefs team to a 31-7 record her senior season and a 34-4 record her junior season. The No. 48 ranked player in Blue Star’s listing of the top 100 seniors in 2005, Bullard also was ranked No. 16 in the 2005 class by Full Court Press. She was a finalist for the 2005 McDonald’s All-American game and was named a TSWA 2005 All-State first team honoree. A runner-up for the 2005 Class AAA Tennessee Miss basketball, Bullard was a team captain every season at Craigmont. By the time she was a junior, Bullard had scored over 2300 career points. An honor roll student
at Craigmont, Bullard also competed in softball and track during the off-season and was named a Commercial Appeal Best of Preps her junior and senior seasons... In 2004, she was the lone representative from the state of Tennessee chosen to represent the South at the USA Basketball Women’s Youth Development Festival in Colorado Springs, which featured 48 of the top juniors in the country. That honor followed a USA Today All-American honor she received following her sophomore season and a
Street & Smith Honorable mention award, which she received in 2002 and 2003...At Craigmont, Bullard was an All-Metro First Team honoree every year since eighth grade and also played AAU ball with the Memphis Showboats, a team coached by her father, David.
